Reverse mentoring

We have a cool programme at my workplace, called "reverse mentoring" where we pair up with one of our 20-something year-old colleagues, so that we can be mentored on how millenials think and what's important to them, with a specific focus on their digital lifestyle. My mentor B has been infectiously enthusiastic - in the last couple of weeks, I have already crossed several apparently critical milestones.  Example 1 - I set up a Whatsapp chat group for my unit.  B was absolutely aghast when I confessed that I didn't already have one. "What??  No Whatsapp group?  Then how do you communicate with them?!?" She hyperventilated. "uh...  I kind of just pick up the phone or um, walk over?" I responded nervously. So I recently went for one of those health screening things, and well, something looked weird on the tests. The clinic sent me one of those ominous SMSes that say, "You know that appointment you had next month?  Well, how about you come in AS SOON AS YOU CAN instead?"  Or words to that effect :P Hardworking fellow that I am, I ignored the SMS of course, thinking - can't be anything serious surely.  Where got time to keep going to doctor?  But after a couple of days, I couldn't put it off in my head any more, so I ambled down to the clinic.  And amidst the gobbledygook of medical terminology, I was essentially told I had to see a specialist to investigate this weird thing on my test. At this point, Google came in useful of course, so I started looking up the words on the report, and the more I read, the more alarming it sounded.  It really didn't sound good at all!
